If you're looking for
peace and tranquillity, there’s our handsome "bach" at Waipori Falls. One
winds up to it for miles on a gravel road through beech and manuka woods
beside a beautiful woodland trout stream. The "bach” is almost lost in
the luxuriant vegetation and embraced by melodious birdsong; it is, to use
the Maori term, a Turawangawaiwai – a place to stand; not only a
place to stand, however, but a place to stare – and reflect.
